Eight people were injured Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle traffic crash in downtown Van Nuys.
Three people were critically injured and five were in fair condition from the crash at 6800 N. Van Nuys Boulevard, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles City Fire Department. That location is at the intersection of Vanowen Street.
Main said firefighters were dispatched there at 12:30 p.m.
