Broken Water Line Floods Street in Larchmont

Water gushed from the ground and flooded a street in the Larchmont neighborhood of Los Angeles after a water line broke Tuesday morning.

The flooding occurred in the 600 block of North Wilton Place near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and North Wilton Place in Larchmont according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Some properties near the location of the water line break had a minimal threat of flooding, authorities added.

No evacuations were in place around 8:30 a.m., and no one was injured.
