Police are searching for a masked gunman who shot a Sylmar liquor store clerk during a robbery Tuesday night.
The robber entered the store in the 13500 block of Glenoaks Boulevard about 8:30 p.m. and gunned down the employee, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The 35-year-old victim was taken to the hospital, where he was in critical condition.
Officers were searching for a silver Honda that was seen leaving the location.
The robber was described as a 5-foot-6-inch black man wearing a green polo shirt.
