A body was found Friday morning in the trunk of a car on 146th Street in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles.
A body found last week in the trunk of a parked car in the in Harbor Gateway area near Gardena was identified Monday as that of a North Hollywood man.
A dog-walker noticed the trunk was ajar on a late-model Nissan that neighbors said had been parked on the street for days. Inside the trunk, he found a wrapped-up body.
The Los Angeles Police Department's Gang Homicide Division was investigating.
Coroner's Lt. Joe Bale said an autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death.
