A worker was hospitalized Wednesday when a crane toppled off the edge of a wall at a West Hollywood construction site.

The worker suffered a serious leg injury, according to the LA Fire Department.

Aerial video showed the crane off the edge of the wall, supported by its boom on the ground.

The site is near La Cienega Boulevard and Oakwood Avenue, northeast of the Beverly Center. Lanes were closed on La Cienega Boulevard during the fire-rescue response.
