The driver of a Nissan 250Z was trapped in the car Thursday night after he crashed into a utility pole in Woodland Hills.

Fire-rescue personnel rescued the trapped driver, who was involved in a two-car crash in the 5800 block of De Soto Avenue. Both drivers admitted to traveling at speeds around 100 mph, police said.

No serious injuries were reported in the 11:30 p.m. crash.

The Nissan and a Scion sedan were southbound on De Soto Avenue when they collided. The Nissan struck the pole, and the Scion crashed into a curb.
