A member of the Orange County Sheriff's Department motorcycle patrol division was injured in a crash Thursday morning on an eastern Los Angeles County freeway.
The deputy was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to the department.
A portion of the southbound 57 Freeway was closed in Diamond Bar at about 6 a.m. for the crash investigation. Aerial video showed the motorcycle on it side in a middle lane of the freeway near Brea Canyon Road.
