Police shot and killed a person in a Riverside neighborhood Tuesday afternoon during a narcotics-related investigation, officials said.
The gunfire broke out about 2:30 p.m. near Keller and Bushnell avenues (map), Riverside Police Department officials said.
Investigators said they recovered a gun at the scene.
No officers were hurt in the shooting.
Police have shut down the area and are diverting traffic.
No further information was immediately available.
