Five Stabbed in Lynwood Parking Space Brawl

Four of the victims suffered serious injuries in the fight near the intersection of Tweedy and Long Beach boulevards

Five men were stabbed in a brawl over a parking space in Lynwood early Saturday.

Four of the victims suffered serious injuries in the fight in a back alley near the intersection of Tweedy and Long Beach boulevards at around 1:30 a.m, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.

The injured were taken to a local hospital, and were in a stable condition with non-life threatening wounds.

One suspect was detained at the scene, while another is still on the loose.

Investigators said there was an altercation before the stabbings. It is unknown if it the fight was gang or drug related at this time.
