Caught on Video: Gunman Demands Cash From Fuel Station Clerk

Surveillance video shows the gunman order the man to the ground after taking money from the cash registers

A gas station convenience store clerk was ordered to empty cash registers at gunpoint in a heist Monday night that was captured on surveillance video.

The robbery occurred at about 9:30 p.m. at the La Palma Express on La Palma Avenue and Walker Street. Surveillance video shows a gunman, wearing a handkerchief tied around his face, pointing a handgun at the store employee and ordering him to empty cash registers.

The clerk was not injured.

After ordering the clerk to the ground, the subject escaped with cash.
