A man in Fullerton was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Vincent John Conti, 26, of North Hollywood, was arrested Saturday after a 2-month long investigation into allegations that he was having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old Fullerton girl that he met online, said the Fullerton Police Department in a press release.
On March 30, Fullerton Police detectives learned that Conti may have been soliciting a sexual relationship with the girl through the website younow.com, the department said. The website allows people to broadcast themselves to a live audience.
Detectives arranged to have Conti meet the victim Saturday at a "prearranged location," where he was confronted by police, the department said. Conti ran from the scene, but after a short chase, he was arrested without incident by FPD patrol officers and plainclothes detectives in a nearby flood control channel, the department said.
