A 5-year-old boy who went missing Friday in Santa Paula was found the same day "safe and in good health," police said.
The boy's family flagged down officers around 8 p.m. in the area of Main and Olive streets after he went missing, according to the Santa Paula Police Department.
According to police, the child was upset because he and his family were to move out to state soon.
Police conducted a door-to-door search with two department K-9's.
The boy was checked by emergency medical services personnel and was released to his family.
