Arrest After Discovery of Body in Moreno Valley Home

Neighbors said they heard screams coming from the house late Sunday on Todd Drive

A 39-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with the death of a woman whose body was discovered late Sunday inside a Moreno Valley home.

The victim's roommate discovered the body at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in a house in the 25300 of Todd Drive. Details regarding a cause of death and the victim's identity were not immediately available.

Julian Hernandez, of Moreno Valley, was arrested on suspicion of murder, according to police. Details regarding the nature of Hernandez's relationship with the victim were not available.

Neighbors told NBC4 about four people live in the house. Screams could be heard coming from the residence, neighbors said.

A mobile command center vehicle was outside the house, around which investigators place yellow police tape. Investigators confirmed late Sunday the case is being investigated as a homicide.
