Cash Taken in Violent Woodland Hills Home Invasion

One person was injured in a home invasion robbery in Woodland Hills early on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014.

One person suffered a head injury and a large amount of cash was stolen during a home invasion robbery in Woodland Hills early Saturday, officials said.

Officers responded to the robbery just before 2 a.m. in the 20100 block of Wells Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said a large, undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the residence, as well as valuable goods.

A victim received trauma to the head during the robbery, but was treated at the scene and released, authorities said.
