Orange County Deputy Accused of Sex Act With Inmate
The inmate at the Intake/Release Center in Santa Ana reported the allegations to a supervisor

A five-year Orange County Sheriff's Department veteran was arrested Monday on suspicion of having sex with an inmate, according to the department.
Jennifer McClain, 29, was arrested Monday night when she was on duty at the Intake Release Center in Santa Ana, according to authorities. She allegedly engaged in unspecified sex acts with an inmate at the facility in November and December.
The male inmate recently reported the allegations to a supervisor, according to a spokesman for the sheriff's department.
McClain was booked at the city of Santa Ana's jail, which is across the street from the facility at which she worked. She was released on her own recognizance.
