Person Critical After Car Plunges 300ft Down Hill in Malibu

One person was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a car plunged 300 feet down the side of a hill in Malibu early Saturday.

The vehicle ran over the side of Kanan Dume Road, near Zuma Edison Road, and flipped as it went down a hill, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A helicopter was deployed to rescue the occupants, and the person with critical head injuries was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. The rescue mission took around 90 minutes to complete.

Two other people were hurt, one with a broken leg and the other with minor injuries.
