One person was found dead inside an apartment that was on fire Monday night, according to LA County Fire officials.
The fire broke out just before 11:30 p.m. at 26709 Avenue of the Oaks in Santa Clarita.
The fire was knocked down about 20 minutes later. Firefighters found one person dead inside.
It is unknown how the person died.
The LA County Fire Department and the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
