Security camera video showed three thieves surrounding their robbery victim before taking her wallet from her purse at the Americana at Brand outdoor mall in Glendale.
The Glendale Police Department released surveillance video of the July 15 theft this week.
Three thieves can be seen in the video moving to different positions, surrounding the robbery victim as she stood at a register. Two of the thieves stood at each side of the victim holding up clothes. Another stood behind the victim, reached into her purse while covering her hand with clothes as she took the victim's wallet.
The suspects left the store shortly after the theft.
Police said the suspects stole credit cards and about $1,000 in cash from the victim.
