Police Seek Public's Help in Finding Ex-Cop Accused of Shooting Spree

Police on Thursday were seeking the public's help finding Christopher Dorner, the fired LAPD officer who is suspected of targeting police and their families in a murderous revenge plot and shooting spree.
The images in this article include the 2005 gray Nissan Titan truck that Dorner was believed to be driving, and a representation of its license plate number, 8D83997, that was created for use on NBC4 TV news.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck described Dorner as 33 years old and 6 feet tall. He is African-American, with brown eyes and black hair, and weighs about 270 pounds.
