Police Seek Suspect in Hit-and-Run that Killed 90-Year-Old Man

Police were searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a 90-year-old bicyclist in downtown Los Angeles.

The crash occurred April 27 at about 5:10 a.m. Joo Yoon, 90, was riding a bicycle across the intersection of Virgil Avenue and 6th Street (map) when a dark-colored Nissan GT-R with a white racing strip fatally struck him.

In a video of  the incident recorded on another motorist's dash-mounted camera, the bicyclist appeared to be crossing against a red light.

The driver was described as an Asian man in his mid-20s, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 180 to 190 pounds.
