A preliminary magnitude-2.5 earthquake was reported one mile north of Ventura Friday morning.
The quake was reported around 11 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.
At least three people reported to USGS that they felt the quake from Ventura to Santa Paula, about 12 miles away.
