Two days after a massive fight out in front of the school, a substitute teacher at Rancho Dominguez Prep School in Long Beach is under investigation after a hidden camera was found under a student's desk. Two videos posted online this week show students in Long Beach shouting profanities and racial slurs at each other, culminating with a brawl that left at least one student injured.

The incident happened Wednesday at Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School, the same school under scrutiny for removing a substitute teacher from campus amid allegations of misconduct.

Parent Rosalin Victor says misconduct allegations against a Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School substitute teacher are "sad." That teacher was terminated after a student reported seeing a hidden camera fall from under his desk after just two days of working with sixth-grade students at the school. John Cadiz Klemack reports from Long Beach for the NBC4 News at Noon on April 20, 2012. (Published Friday, April 20, 2012)

In the videos, the fights appear to be racially motivated, with students shouting slurs at each other. At least three adults tried to separate the children from each other, but grandstanding and outbursts of violence were too much to control.

At one point, a security guard pulls out his baton. Moments later, at least five students began punching each other.

One student appears to be injured, as bystanders start shouting that someone got knocked out.

The video ends as police sirens can be heard in the background, and students start to flee.

In a letter sent home to parents Friday school officials did not mention the brawl. Instead, administrators focused on the removal of a substitute teacher who was allegedly found with a camera last week. The employee was put on administrative leave and has since been terminated.

The details of the incident are "confidential and cannot be disclosed," Principal Keri Lew wrote in the letter.

Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School is located at 4110 Santa Fe Ave., and although it is in Long Beach, the school is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Students generally come from neighboring Carson and Wilmington.
