A teenager was stabbed to death in Garden Grove late Tuesday.
Officers found the 19-year-old bleeding from his wounds in the area of Avalon Avenue and Fairview Street just before 9 p.m, a Garden Grove Police Department spokesman said.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to the UCI Medical Center, but later died.
Investigators believe he was stabbed by a man in his 20s who was wearing dark clothing. He is believed to have fled the scene on foot.
Police are speaking to witnesses and gathering forensic evidence. A bloodhound team is also trying to track the subject.
