Teen in Critical Condition After Stabbing Outside Taco Bell in Camarillo

The victim was transported to a hospital and expected to survive.

A teenager was in critical condition after he was stabbed outside of a Taco Bell in Camarillo on Monday, police said.

The assault was reported around 1:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Flynn Road, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department. Police said two groups of people were arguing in the parking lot before the altercation became physical and a 17-year-old boy was stabbed.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he was in critical condition, but was expected to survive, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

The Taco Bell was temporarily shutdown after the assault. Police said they had not yet made any arrests.
