Windows Shattered at Exotic Car Showroom, Other Businesses

Windows of at least eight business were shattered in a string of vandalism cases overnight in West Los Angeles and the Wilshire District.

The businesses included furniture, produce, automotive and lighting stores along La Cienega Boulevard.

One of the businesses houses high-end automobiles, including Lamborghinis, Corvettes and Ferraris, for rent. Shattered pieces of large front windows were on the floor in the display area.

A BB gun was likely used to break the windows, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No injuries or arrests were reported early Friday.

Workers spent the morning sweeping up broken glass.

"It's annoying more than anything," said Brian Smith, store manager at Aritst and Craftsman Supply. "There was just glass everywhere."

Similar vandalism was reported overnight in Beverly Hills, where glass covered a sidewalk outside a deli near Wilshire and Robertson boulevards.

Investigators plan to review security camera video.
