The passenger of a car that crashed into a light pole in Torrange early Thursday died of his injuries, authorities said.
An eastbound vehicle appeared to have struck a light pole in the 2000 block of Torrance Blvd. around 2:45 a.m., said Torrance police Sgt. Chris Roosen.
The passenger died of his injuries at a local hospital, while the driver, whose condition is unknown, was also taken to a hospital, police said.
