An officer-involved shooting left a man dead in North Hills Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The shooting was reported in the 8800 block of Norwich Avenue.
An officer shot the suspect, and he was taken to the hospital.
He was killed, police later confirmed.
Police said he was armed with a knife.
It wasn't clear exactly what happened prior to the shooting.
