Holly Hannula is the traffic anchor of NBC4’s weekday morning newscast “Today in LA,” and is currently on maternity leave. Follow her on Twitter here.
Hannula comes to NBC4 with a wide-range of broadcast television experience. For three years she worked on the syndicated morning show “The Daily Buzz” as a co-host and west coast correspondent. She was also the fill-in weather anchor and produced weather segments.
Over the course of her career, she has hosted and reported for a variety of shows across a diverse network portfolio including Fuse, Extra, TV Guide, E! Entertainment and the Discovery Channel. In 2003, she also worked at Telemundo’s Mun2 Television as the host for “FuZion” and “The Report.”
Hannula graduated with a B.S. degree in Broadcasting and Art History from the University of Miami. Her love for broadcast journalism began working for the university’s television station, UMTV, as a sports and lifestyle anchor and reporter.
She lives in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs, is an avid hiker and practices yoga. She’s also active in the community and volunteers to help distribute food to the homeless.
