Guide Dogs of America

For over 65 years, Guide Dogs of America has been providing guide dogs free of charge to blind men and women across the US and Canada. With no government funding, we rely solely on our fundraising efforts and corporate and private donations.

We are always in need of volunteer puppy-raisrs, as their job is an important one in the development of a puppy in our program. The raiser takes the puppy everywhere the raiser would go in order to socialize them and expose them to as many environments as possible in order to prepare the puppy for its job as a guide dog.
