SGVCC targets youth ages 16-24, who are disengaged from school and work and offers an intensive program that helps disadvantaged youth develop the motivation, self-confidence, work skills, and education necessary to take advantage of an opportunity to succeed in life. The Mentoring Program provides participants with the opportunity to establish a high-quality supportive relationship with an adult, 21 years of age or older.

The SGVCC Earthworks Farm division provides job training and academic instruction for young adults, ages 16 – 24. The Earthworks Farm is a working and educational farm facilitating programs in urban farming for youth residing in the San Gabriel Valley, and host community workshops to residents of the neighboring communities.
