Founded in 1950, the Redlands Symphony’s mission is to entertain and educate listeners of all ages by presenting live performances at the highest artistic standard possible. Consistent with this goal, the Redlands Symphony instituted a music education program for elementary school children in 1999. The program reaches over 5,000 students per year. Since 2011, the Symphony has also funded the total cost of transporting students from schools in Yucaipa-Calimesa and a portion of the cost of bringing students from Redlands to the OrKIDstra concert.

Each of our concerts attracts up to 1000 to Memorial Chapel on the campus of the University of Redlands. Volunteers are needed to provide information and guidance to patrons who come to concert. To volunteer, click here.
