More iStuff: Apple Releases New Products

No, they didn’t announce a new iPhone…yet. But Apple did update its computer line-up today introducing new iMacs, a Mac Mini, and Mac Pros to hold us over.

The new iMac line includes an improved 20 and 24-inch model. Apple is offering more bang-for-the-buck including up to twice the memory and storage at a similar price point as last years models.

The new Mac mini starts at $599 and features an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processsor similar to the MacBooks. They’ve improved the efficiency claiming they are the “world’s most energy efficient desktop” drawing less than 13 watts of power when idle.

The new Mac Pro desktop features an updated Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processor running at speeds up to 2.93 GHz. The new system is up to twice the performance of the previous generations and includes the latest graphics technology and improved interior that makes expansion easier.

The announcements come on the heels of Apple’s recent release of the updated MacBook Pro. The Mac Mini and iMac are available now in stores. The Mac Pro is expected next week.
