Las Virgines Avenue was scheduled to be closed Friday until 3 p.m. between Mulholland Highway and Lost Hills Road while power workers repair a downed power pole.

Sheriff's deputies say a woman fell asleep at the wheel early Friday morning and crashed into the pole at Las Virgenes Road and Mulholland Highway.

The impact caused the pole to topple, exposing the wires. The driver walked away with minor injuries.

That stretch of road borders Calabasas and unincorporated Monte Nido.
