NBC4 Weathercaster Fritz Coleman to Support Valley Interfaith Council

NBC4’s Weathercaster Fritz Coleman will perform his comedy act on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Sherman Oaks/East Valley Center to benefit the Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), a nonprofit social services organization supporting older Americans.

Fritz targets baby boomers with his unique blend of acerbic wit and comedic observations that keeps audiences laughing long after the show’s end. Opening the show will be the talented mind-reading duo of Jeff and Kimberly Bornstein who have performed for troops in war zones all over the world.

“We want everyone to enjoy an evening filled with great comedy entertainment knowing the proceeds go directly to support an array of programs and services that benefit nearly 80,000 valley residents every year. We’re very grateful for the support of Fritz over the years,” said Beverly Ventriss, VIC board chair.

VIC is a 49 year-old organization that also works to promote understanding among diverse faith groups and cultures through various activities and events. The Sherman Oaks/East Valley Center is one of four multipurpose centers in the valley operated by VIC.

The one night-only performance will be at the Sherman Oaks/East Valley Center located at 5056 Van Nuys Blvd. For tickets call: (818) 880.4842, ext. 3002, or by going to www.vic-la.org. Showtime is 6 p.m.
