Gadget geeks have a new reason for summer to end.
Microsoft officially announced May 26 the new iteration of their Zune line to arrive this fall. Zune HD will be the first portable media player that combines a built-in HD Radio receiver, HD video capabilities, multi-touch screen, Wi-Fi and an Internet browser.
The next evolution of Zune also offers new touch-friendly apps and games. The emphasis on the handheld is bridging the Xbox and Zune platforms and combining an integrated living room, gaming and portable media experience while delivering a stable Windows 7 computing environment.
