On the Racked: Melrose Stores Attacked, WeHo 7-11 Has Vermin, Third Street Shutterings

The latest store info and sidewalk scenes from street-obsessed Racked LA, the newest member of the Curbed family.

MELROSE HEIGHTS: Miss Sixty and Fornarina got windows shattered and egged, respectively, last weekend. As Racked wonders, 1. It's not even Halloween yet and 2. Who has time? Kids, that's who.

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Watch your vermin! A Racked correspondent headed over to the 7-11 at Santa Monica Boulevard and Hayworth Avenue--only to find a locked door a posted health code violation: Vermin Infestation and Gross Contamination. People get really bothered by vermin.

THIRD STREET: Shuttering alert: Magenta, a women's boutique, and Memenic, which sells European clothing are both closing. It appears the former store wasn't liked: "When it opened about a year ago, it caused a bit of a stir with nearby boutique owners because it was carrying not only the same labels, but the same styles of dresses and separates."
