A death investigation was underway late Tuesday at a Torrance residence.
The death was reported in the afternoon some time before 4:45 p.m. on Anza Avenue between Emerald and Spencer streets, according to Torrance police Sgt. Ronald Harris.
No information was immediately available on the decedent's age, gender or why detectives launched an investigation into the death, Harris said.
