What You're Doing This Weekend: June 26th-28th

LOS ANGELES FILM FESTIVAL WRAPS: The multi-day mega-festival is about to stow the projectors for another year, but not before screening two final films that appeal: the animated "Ponyo" from Japan, and a free showing of "Election," the Alexander Payne/Reese Witherspoon/Matthew Broderick gem. Did we say gem? We meant *perfect movie*. Both Sunday, June 28th; location/time/admission info.

MORE TOP SHOWS: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony play Club Nokia on Friday, June 26th; The Zombies are at The Wiltern on Saturday, June 27th; and funny George Lopez is at Nokia Theatre on Saturday, June 27th.

KCRW WORLD FESTIVAL: Oh Adele. It's hard to stop listening to you once we start (a good thing). That voice. Looks like you'll take pause from chasing pavements to sing at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, June 28th, along with Chaka Khan (who is stepping in for Etta James; announcement here) and Janelle Monae. Jason Bentley of KCRW does the at-the-mic duties. 7PM

SUMMER SOULSTICE: Main Street in Santa Monica really is a true main street, brimming as it is of shoppage, stroll-y types, people watching. So when a summertime party is thrown, we take note. Clowns, bands -- can't wait to see StiltRockers, who do indeed rock on stilts -- and a gargantuan sidewalk sale are in store. Sunday, June 28th

THE LADY OF THE MANNERS: You're a goth, an aspiring goth, or you've been longing to carry a parasol and don lace-up boots and read Poe. Jillian Venters -- the wise, warm, and lace-and-glove-wearing Lady of the Manners -- has advice. The berobed-in-Victoriana authoress is signing "Gothic Charm School," which should provide guidance to gothlings everywhere, at Book Soup on Saturday, June 27, 7PM
