The 101 Freeway was closed in both directions Thursday night for nearly an hour as firefighters and police responded to an incident on the Western Avenue overpass in Hollywood.
Both sides of the freeway were reportedly closed just after 9 p.m.
Aerial footage showed traffic backed up for miles in both directions.
No other details were immediately available.
