A 20-year-old Buena Park man pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting two girls, ages 6 and 7, at the Anaheim daycare center where he worked.
Daniel Antonio Martinez pleaded guilty to three counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14 and three counts of sexual penetration of a child younger than 10, according to court records.
Martinez is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 12.
Martinez sexually assaulted the girls between the beginning of August and Nov. 9, 2016, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The 6-year-old told a relative on Nov. 9, 2016, that she was feeling pain, which ultimately prompted the family to call police. Additional investigation led police to the second victim, prosecutors said.
