A 10-year-old actor who just landed the role of Simba in "The Lion King" remake is lucky to be alive after a car plowed into his bedroom early Friday.
J.D. McCrary was in the kitchen of his home when a car crashed into his bedroom.
"It was like an earthquake," he said.
The chain-reaction crash was caused when a red truck hit a car, which ricocheted into the McCrary house.
"Why," Jay McCrary said after watching surveillance footage of the truck speeding towards his house. "It's like he purposely did that."
When Larisa McCrary went out to look, she saw a child car seat in the middle of the street, a woman, and a baby.
Police continute to look for the driver and a woman carrying a baby.
