A woman was taken into custody Saturday after she allegedly threatened a man with a gun and then barricaded herself inside an Eagle Rock home, police said.
Officers responded to the 2500 block of Laverna Avenue at 1:25 p.m. after reports of a domestic argument between a man and a woman, said Officer Mike Lopez said of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman allegedly pulled a gun, prompting the man to flee the home with their 9-year-old child.
Police initially said the two were husband and wife, but later said they could not confirm that.
The two-hour standoff ended when the woman was arrested by SWAT team members without incident.
