Man Allegedly Stabs Mother After Dispute in Fullerton

A 50-year-old woman died and a 75-year-old man was in serious condition after the stabbing early Tuesday.

Authorities arrested a Fullerton resident after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death and attacked her boyfriend Tuesday.

The Fullerton Police Department responded to a call at 1:41 a.m. at the 100 block of South Pritchard Avenue, according to Lt. Andrew Goodrich of the Fullerton Police Department.

Police said 33-year-old Ah Fang allegedly stabbed his 50-year-old mother and her 75-year-old live-in boyfriend. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where Fang's mother was pronounced dead and where her boyfriend remained in serious condition with wounds to his arm and chest.

According to officials, Fang and his sister got into an argument in the evening before Fang locked himself in his bedroom. His mother tried speaking to her son but was stabbed several times, at least once in the abdomen, when he opened the door.

Fang then fled the scene before being arrested by police. Authorities believe they located the weapon involved in the homicide.

Anyone with information regarding the stabbing is asked to contact Detective Magliano at 714-738-6753. Those who wish to submit an anonymous tip can call the Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
