Car Riddled With Bullets in Inglewood During Deadly Shooting

Investigators say a woman was killed and a man was seriously wounded after the car they were in was riddled with bullets in Inglewood.

Inglewood police say the two victims flagged down officers at a gas station, where they were found suffering from gunshot wounds inside their car. The driver of the car had managed to pull into the station after being shot late Tuesday.

The victims "were sitting in their car in the 100 block of N. Ash Street" when three men in their 20s approached the car and started shooting, a statement from Inglewood police said.

Sgt. Jeff LaGreek says the two victims were rushed to a hospital, where the woman died. The man was in serious but stable condition.

Police have not released a suspect description.
