All lanes of the southbound 170 Freeway in North Hollywood were closed as police searched for an armed suspect in an adjacent residential area.
The suspect, wanted for robbery, was armed with a knife in the area of Burbank Boulevard and Troost Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department media relations.
