    Public Memorials Set to Remember Fallen Firefighters

    The public is invited to celebrate the lives of two Southern California firefighters who died battling a devastating wildfire in Arizona.

    A memorial for Kevin Woyjeck, 21, will be held Tuesday, July 16 at Christ Cathedral located at 12141 Lewis St. in Garden Grove (map), according to the Los Angeles County Fire Museum.

    Certain details, including the start time, are still being organized, the museum said.

    A memorial for Chris MacKenzie, 30, will be held Saturday, July 13 at Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre located at 27400 Ramona Bowl Road in Hemet (map), according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

    The service starts at 6 p.m

    A private memorial for two other firefighters with California ties who perished in the wildfire – cousins Grant McKee, 21, and Robert Caldwell, 23 – is scheduled for next week in Newport Beach.
