One person was detained early Tuesday following a shooting that left one man dead and two others wounded in downtown Los Angeles.
Officers responded to the sound of gunfire just before 2 a.m. near Skid Row.
The victim of the fatal shooting was a man in his early 50s, police said. The wounded individuals, one of whom was detained in connection with the shooting, were expected to survive, police said.
