El Centro, Calif., continues to rank as the city with the highest unemployment rate in the United States. The jobless rate there is 24.5 percent jobless rate.
Merced and Yuba City rank second and third, with 19.9 and 18.9 percent unemployment rates, followed by the Indiana town of Elkhart-Goshen in the no. 4 spot.
