The Daniels family from Hawthorne received the surprise of their lifetime after Ellen DeGeneres gave them $1 million.
The family of six who lives paycheck to paycheck submitted a video dancing for one of Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways. This video along with the family's generosity got Ellen's attention.
Although the family stuggles financially, they are always looking to give back by donating items to families in need. The family also paid for someone's grocieries at Walmart when they saw the person had a newborn baby.

During the show, family members and friends said the Daniels' go out of their way to help others.
Ellen partnered with Cheerios for the One Million Acts of Good campaign to spread kindness worldwide. The family received $500,000 to continue paying it forward and another $500,000 for themselves.
This was the single biggest giveaway in the Ellen's show in 16 years.
