Ex-Warlords, Scholars Among Afghanistan's Presidential Candidates

Six candidates were vying Saturday to succeed Afghan President Hamid Karzai who has lead the country since the fall of the Taliban in 2001. Candidates must win at least 50 percent of the vote and if that isn’t achieved the top two candidates enter a run-off, which is likely. This process could drag on for months. The candidates include ex-jihadi warlords, doctors, and scholars. Click through for more on each candidate.
